The Gowanda Recreation Department will be holding a slow-pitch softball tournament on August 31 with an 11 am start time. The double-elimination tourney will cost $100 per team to enter. Sign-up deadline is August 22.

CAM P-TECH (Springville) and WNY P-TECH (Dunkirk) 4th quarter Honor Roll lists have been released for the recently completed school year. The P-TECH centers are both part of Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES. Several Gowanda students were included on those lists.

Jamestown Community College has released it’s Spring 2025 Dean’s List for part-time students. On Gowanda student, Danielle Webber, was included on that list.

To be eligible, a student must achieve a minimum 3.50 GPA while enrolled in six to 11 degree hours.
