Gowanda Small Town Times

JCC has released their full-time Deans List for Fall 2025. To qualify, students earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher while completing at least 12 degree hours.Three Gowanda student were named on that list. They are:

Hailey Fort, Jessica Storm and Madalyn West

Southern New Hampshire University has released their the Summer 2025 President’s List. The summer terms run from May to August. One Gowanda student, Marisa Lopez, was included on that list.

Jamestown Community College has put out another list of high school students earning part time Dean;s List honors for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters. To be eligible, students must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.50 or better while enrolled in six to 11 degree credits.

Several Gowanda students were named as follows:

For Fall 2024, Chase Bolen, Molly Bowers, Holland Browning, Gracie Eddy, Max Hansen-Ivett, Santino Jefferlone, Tessa Kohn, Addison Kota, Danielle Krajewski, Seamus Matwijow, Maddison Smith, Sydney Smith, Demetra Spire and Helena Wallschlaeger.

Jamestown Community College recently announced Dean’s List honors for full-time high school students enrolled part-time in college courses for the 2024/25 Fall and Spring terms. To be eligible, students must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.50 or better while enrolled in at least 12 degree credits.

One recent GCS graduate, Jillian Gernatt, was named to the list for the Fall 2024 term. Gernatt was also the Gowanda Class of 2025 Valedictorian.

Trine University recently announced the graduation of a Gowanda student at the end of the Spring 2025 term. Ashton Francis has completed the requirements for a Forensic Science degree.
