On Wednesday, April 23, the Gowanda Varsity softball team hosted Pine Valley. Gowanda started out fast with Addison Kota (#2) connecting on her first of 3 home runs in the game. That hit also scored Corrina John (#22) as seen below. Kota also pitched a shutout, 12-0.

Mark Benton, Gowanda Recreation Director, has asked me to pass alng the following information:

Gowanda Recreation will be hosting a co-ed soccer program once again this spring at Gateway Park on Palmer Street. All students in grades 1 through 8 from Gowanda and the surrounding areas are free to attend at no cost. Previous soccer experience is not necessary to participate in this program. Each child should wear spikes or sneakers and bring water. Any questions can be directed to Mark Benton at 716-770-8809.
