P-TECH Honor, Merit Rolls
WNY P-TECH in Dunkirk and CAM P-TECH in Springville have announced their High Honor/Honor/Merit Roll lists for the third quarter of 2025. Several Gowanda students were among the honorees as lited below.

April 30 Boys Lacrosse
The Gowanda Varsity boys lacrosse team took on Salamanca at Hillis Field on April 30. After Salamanca landed the 1st goal, the score would be tied at 1-1 through 5-5 before Gowanda pulled into an 8-6 lead by halftime. Salamanca outscored Gowanda 4-1 in the 3rd quarter to move back in front 10-9. Each team would add a pair of goals in the final quarter with Gowanda’s final goal coming with 15 seconds left in the game. Gowanda, unable to control the final face-off, fell one goal short 11-12.
Ha’tsihgahdo:d Stevens (#88) lines up the shot that tied the score at 1-1.
Randall John (#14) sets up the shot that narrowed the Salamanca lead to 7-5 with 3:53 left in the 1st half.
