Gowanda notes Red Ribbon Week

Gowanda Middle School emphasized drug-free lifestyles for all students in grades 5-8 during Red Ribbon Week from Oct. 27 to 31. Many students created submissions for the Red Ribbon poster contest. Winners for 2025 are: Arian Rice, Carter Nobles, Isabella Franz, Jassidy Eddy and Rinoa Bolen. Daily dress-up themes were encouraged, and staff presented prizes to two students from each grade level who best represented each daily theme. The theme for the week was "Be Strong, Be True, Be You, Drug Free!"
